WORLD SERIES FOOTBALL

Football Focus was last year granted the rights to market World Series Football in the Asian region. World Series has a fantastic pedigree, having previously held tournaments in Amsterdam, which has been running for 10 years now, Dubai, Shanghai and Rotterdam. The World Series tournaments have been filled with the worlds best football teams and clubs that have participated previously are those such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Celtic to name but a few.

World Series is now in the process of expanding the reach of its tournaments further into the Asian region and there are some tremendous opportunities to sponsor these festivals of football.

World Series offers a unique opportunity of bringing together the world’s leading football clubs in a year-round calendared format, making for an exceptional global television property, with its array of high-quality and serialised sporting occasions.

The inaugural World Series tournament was in Shanghai, China in August 2006 followed by Dubai in January 2007. Further tournaments in South Africa, North and South America, Japan, Hong Kong, India and all around Asia are to be staged to complete the World Series Host Venue line-up.
