Proctor & Gamble (Gillette/Head & Shoulders)

Gillette were looking to do football promotion that would regionally benefit a number of
countries. Football Focus advised and secured the services of three new ambassadors in Steven Gerrard, Joe Cole and Rio Ferdinand for the territories of Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. All these markets are huge football markets and Football Focus worked with Gillette in securing not only the players but also appearances to launch the campaign with Football Legends in each market. Legends utilised were Bryan Robson, Viv Anderson, Ian Rush, Andrei Kanchelskis and John Barnes.

The campaign was a huge success with winners being given a one week stay at West Ham’s renowned Academy of Football, as well as trips to watch EPL matches. Gillette utilised the players imagery and the popularity of the Legends on ground to create a well run and well supported campaign.

Resorts World Genting (Game on at Genting)

Resorts World Genting wanted to associate themselves with the buzz around the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 and help to bring more customers up to their casinos/resorts. They also wanted a way to reward their regular customers and big spending clients.

Football Focus organised an endorsement and appearance by Liverpool and England Legend Robbie Fowler which included the use of his image on advertising as well as two visits to the Highlands resort to commentate on the games and meet Genting patrons.

In association with Genting’s Carnival de Janeiro campaign, which was bolstered by the use of Football Focus games, prizes and performers, RWG delivered an effective campaign to its customers and successfully rode the wave of the hype around the World Cup. 

Fraser & Neave (100 Plus Singapore)

100 Plus in Singapore were looking to tie in with the inaugural EPL Football Cup Singapore and wanted to advertise around the event. Football Focus helped them to select two Legend players (Robbie Fowler and Andy Cole) that represented the majority of their customers as Legends from Manchester United and Liverpool.

100 Plus used the two Legends battling each other in their advertising for their campaign around the event and focused on the fact that these two ‘ex players’ were still competing hard at a high level.
